The garage is about $5 unless you have your parking ticket stamped by Uncle Julios. They only stamp tickets before 3PM. So if you go at night be prepared to spend $5.
very close to a Metro station
$25 for the regular, $30 for the chocolate lover's pinata which comes with mini chocolate empanadas

Friendly customer service and the food was amazing. The outdoor setting is beautiful
Ordered from the first time and I love the food here. I promise it won't be the last at all.
One of the best salsas I've ever had! It's warm (from the fresh roasted tomatoes, onions, etc) and has incredibly good flavor. Delicious warm, very thin tortilla chips, and warm flour tortillas made on the mechanical press you can see as you come into the restaurant.
Great choice and awesome food. Variety of choices for any taste bud and age. Busy Saturday weekend but food came on time, hot, and well cooked.
Gets crowded, but seems more popular for its location and outdoor space. Menu is pretty small, both food and drink (although great selection of tequila). Food's pretty good, but nothing special. Fajita's are your best bet, and the table-side guac is not bad. I'd still rather do Guapo's
First I'd like to say our service was outstanding and our food was also very good... However we all..Including our waitress..Oserved Cockroaches crawling on our table and on the walls next to us. Our server said she would have the manager come talk to us.We waited 30-40 minutes until we decided to leave. On our way out the door I seen the manager standing at the bar (Alex). So I asked him why he couldn't be bothered with coming to our table to at least say something. His reply to me was sorry I didn't have time.. And acted like the $250.00 I spent wasn't as important as the large party in the back.. I told him I'd be making a review and his comment was go ahead..I for one will never return to this place..Not so much because of the Cockroaches(although that should be enough) but because of the way management treated us..
The freshly made tortilla chips and salsa are the best you can get anywhere! All other menu items I have eaten are also reliably tasty and presented nicely. The only complaint I ever have here is that the restaurant is very, very loud. No sound dampening at all. When it is very busy, it's challenging to hear each other even when speaking at a louder than a normal conversational volume.
Great food, great drinks, so delicious and fun when they bring in the huge pinata!!! Only reason I won't give it five star is because it's very loud and nosy in there.
I was pleased with the variety of entrees. The atmosphere is nice for social gathering and on par with the price point. The service was pretty timely since we arrived at a low volume hour for a Saturday. Our server was nice, but my order came out as pork instead of fish and when that was corrected my order still wasn't accurate, but I had already been waiting the longest at my table so I didn't bother sending it back again. The restaurant offers 3 types of beans, but only the black beans are vegetarian while the others are cooked with pork. We didn't have the pork contents cleared up until after our food arrived and we ended up sending back all of the beans. One order made for black beans originally even came out as the house beans and had to be sent back with the lot. The specialty dessert was a redeeming factor, but it was $25.00. Overall the experience was alright, but I'm in not in any rush to return.
Good location. Friendly staff. Food was good, but nothing stood out. Tables and chairs are like cafeteria style and it is loud inside.
For starters we've been to other locations (Chicago) and they're always great. Small issues, like the waiter wasn't attentive. We asked for table side guacamole and it's possible he didn't hear us, so we didn't get it. No worries, there was no charge. My only other issue was that their black beans had peppers in them. While this may be okay for adults, kids can't handle it (well at least mine couldn't). The manager on duty last night was completely understanding and it was no big issue. We like Mexican, so I'm sure we'll be back. If they could just make small adjustments to meet the needs of kids, that'd be great.
Good food and service. It was late so everything came fast. Had a Swirl & Chicken Enchiladas. The Swirl had a tangy flavor which was surprising. The enchiladas treated more one the spicy bitter Tex-Mex side but very good. Lots of room for both groups.
Great place with excellent food. My only take is that the place is so big with probably not enough waiters to serve every table timely. The service is not the best.
Food was fresh and decent. Portions are good for the money. Menu is ok. Staff are friendly waiter was very professional efficient and made sure we were taken care of. Restaurant clean. I wasn’t impressed but would definitely go again.
Great experience and my waiter Bruno was great. We sat outside yesterday such a beautiful day. I recommend the Lobster Y Fajitas (Lobster tail, grilled chicken, and steak). The Mexican butter is so good with the Lobster and on the chicken. The homemade flour tortillas so good
Great food. A bit of a wait on the weekends
The food was very good and these were some of the best margaritas I’ve had in a while. However the service was not too great and the bar area could have been cleaner. I’d probably eat here again, but to-go
Love the food here and happy they still orders during this whole pandemic going on. Been coming here for awhile now and always amazed how great the food taste every time.
Good reasonable priced food. I enjoyed the tasty salsa, guacamole and three different carnitas tacos. Chips needs more salt. Service was great!
Every time we go to uncle Julio’s it is awesome. The chips and salsa they start you off with are my favorite at any Mexican place. For the main you pretty much have to get fajitas because it’s the best thing in the menu. The experience is always good, highly recommend.
This place is moderately inexpensive and the food is decent Mexican food. However, the best part of it are the drinks as you can see 😎
Really good food, decent service
Ugh. This place is very open and basic. I felt like I was in a dining facility overseas. The tables and seating are all over the place. It’s so loud you can hear the person next to you speak. It’s so dark you can barley see what you are eating. I got the steak fajitas and it was a steak that tasted like hamburger meat, on top of a pile, and I mean a pile of half cooked onions and peppers. The peppers and onions aren’t even cut consistently. I looked liked someone dumped scraps on my plate and gave it to me. There wasn’t nearly enough cheese, sour cream , or tomatoes with the meal. Me server was super nice. But the food and the atmosphere are horrible.
July 23 2020. Chose this place because they had outdoor seating, then paid for parking for two hours. They had the inside open, but not the outside, because they didn't have enough servers. CDC guidelines are that outside only is less risky than inside, and inside only is the highest risk, so this was kind of a bad arrangement. They're not doing their best to protect either the guests or the employees. Wouldn't seat us outside for any reason, and wouldn't allow us to use the outside tables if we ordered takeout, for fear that it would attract more outside diners. BTW, I used to be a waitress, and it was NEVER a problem to take a table outside of my section..
Had an amazing first time. We ate a crazy amount of chips and salsa, drinks were superb. Appetizers were yummy. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. The Pinata dessert was awesome!!
Attended my friend birthday party there and it was great experience for me. I love their food. Their staff treat us in a amazing way and made are experience even more better.
Superb! We ordered the Guadalajara fajitas and the steak was so so tender and spiced just right. Our server, James, was awesome! It was well worth the trip from the Andrews Air Force Base area (Clinton, Md). We will be back.
The food omg it's the best food ever 1millions stars can you put one in Waldorf MD please 🙏👍😁
I can see why people rave about this chain! Very good Mexican food. I love seafood so I prefer more of the kind of menu that Cyclone Anaya has but this place is terrific. Great service too. Definitely recommend.
Foods are good but I did not like the service. They forgot the guacamole but idk if I see it at receipt. Let’s wait and see. Salmon was pretty good. Black bean and Cilantro rice is ok. Good job chef.
I really enjoyed my impromptu dinner at Uncle Julio's. My server, in particular, was great: personable, friendly and just a happy sort. The food came out literally 5 minutes after I ordered (admittedly, they were in the midst of a lull at the time). Good was fresh flavorful, although not particularly unique or original. Highly recommended.
We tried the brunch menu for the first time today. A filling meal that is less expensive than the fajitas, but flavors were a bit dull. One entree was cold; in fact, the whole restaurant was quite cold today. I suggest asking for hot sauce, which helped.
Awesome place to celebrate our anniversary
Never had a bad meal here. Always visit when I'm in town. Our waitress tonight, Emily, was amazing. Followed her recommendation for the fresh raspberry margarita. Deeeelicious! The Guadalajara fajitas always the best!
Great tacos. They make the guacamole in front of you. It's not alot but good enough for 2 people.
Great food and good service! The chocolate piñata so fun for celebrations! Definitely worth the price.
Visited for the first time while officiating a wedding at Lincoln Memorial, and the food was amazing plus the drinks took off the edge before the wedding the next day! Our waiter suggested my drink and it suited me well, especially the shot in the middle. Our offspring wanted honey mustard, yet the establishment does not carry it...the manager made him a honey mustard sauce that he LOVED, so 50 points to the manager on duty 8/17!Shrimp, mango and pineapple together, you'll thank me later!!
Once we got in the food and service was great. Look the pandemic is bad. But common sense must be used! My friend weighs over 400 lbs. We came in during a torrential down poor. But they wouldn't open the side door to let him in. We had to walk all the way around to the main door. They made us step out into the rain to walk around a pillar to get to the main door. RIDICULOUS.... be smart and help the elderly and handicapped!!!
If you want small quantity, sub par “Mexican” food that is way overpriced, then this is the place for you. A simple margarita is very expensive here and there was not that much provided. There are way better Mexican restaurants that are more reasonably priced, with a better quality and quantity of food, then this place.
Food doesn’t taste like real Mexican food, tastes more like some white man’s poor attempt in making Mexican food. The wait to get seated is long as hell. Very disappointed...
Nice atmosphere for the new age of living since covid-19, everything is spaced out and you can have a chair between a person at a table if you're nervous with the friends you're with lol.
Hadn't been since my birthday two years ago and the food is still as I remember and my favorite is the tortilla chips yummy
I really love this Mexican restaurant!! The food was great. We had the best server Joshua. Will be going back
We went here because of the sign said"New Mexican" cooking, something I wouldn't expect to see in Washington DC. While it wasn't what I grew up with the food was well prepared and tasty. The guacamole for the table was more than the five of us could eat.Enchiladas, tacos, and tamales weren't exactly like New Mexico food, but it's DC! Good enough!
Great food.. social distancing taking place.
We had KiKi as our server, and she was delightful as well as knowledgeable! Food was hot and quite appetizing. The tableside guacamole service is amazingly FRESH and the in-house made corn chips absolutely melt in your mouth! Busy, but fun, atmosphere! Very enjoyable!
The food was fine, but was dismayed to find that a 20% tip had been added to my order I without my permission. Also no explanation about the 4% surcharge. When I asked what it was I was simply told that's part of the charge. So my $28 order for tacos came to more than $38!
Food is always good. I love Uncle Julios and the staff is always so nice and tentative.
Went on a Saturday evening, the wait for 2 people was an hour...waited longer than that. A group came in after we did of 6, the wait for a group of 6 was 2 hours!! They were seated before us because one of their party members kept harassing the staff, walking in and out of the dining area looking for empty tables and was waving money around so that someone would seat them! The swirl was weird but not terrible, the watermelon margarita was weak. The mango lemonade my husband ordered was delicious! It's $1 for a refill of lemonade. The food was hot, I enjoyed Pretty much everything except the chicken enchilada. The beef enchilada was so good! So was the taco, I wish they had cabbage instead of lettuce. My beans had good flavor but they were dry, and the rice was nice. Felt over cooked but tasted nice. For the most part I would eat the again, my rating is mainly for the first part, I wrote that while in the restaurant before we were even seated!
